Location of the Lock box is behind the foil shed on the Pillar. Slide lock box window down dial the code and press the switch down and pull open. There are 2 keys in the lock box just in case one accidentally gets locked in the salon from not being put back in the lock box.
WiFi Went Out? What To Do!
If the wifi goes out Phorest, the phones, and the card readers will all be unusable for the time being! Stay calm and do the following:
Try to assess the issue and troubleshoot if possible.
First, try power cycling the Comcast box in the laundry room (unplug for 30 seconds then plug it back in).
If it stays off, turn on a hotspot, and connect the laptop and terminal to the hotspot so you can use Phorest.
Use the salon's hotspot
Turn on the T Mobile Box by pressing and holding the power button. It should say welcome when it turns on.
Connect the iPhone, computer, Vish IPads, and card terminals.
See attachment below on how to connect the card terminals.
When you connect the hot spot to the terminals, you must delete the salons wifi (Annas Wifi) from the access points so it is only able to connect to the hot spot.

The credit card terminals won't work if they are not on the same network as Phorest.
The phones will be automatically forwarded to the Front Desk iPhone if the phones aren't connected to the internet
The phones can be connected to our back up wifi by doing the following steps:
Press menu button
Scroll using the arrow keys and go to "Basic"
Scroll to option 8. Wi-Fi
Go to option 4. Available Networks
Look for Network: Franklin T9 5445 and press okay on that network
When the wifi is restored repeat the process and connect to Network: Annastasia Salon
Now Text Luke, Maria, and Location Leads so they know what is going on
and Call or text Gabriel the IT guy: (503) 705-4362 and let him know we need his help!
Checking out guests:
Communicate to guests what the issue is. If they are paying cash or check you can process their payment with Phorest connected to a hotspot.
Our new payment terminals will not work while the wifi is down and will not connect to the backup wifi. Do the following to check out guests:
Use Phorest on the web browser
Ask the guest if they would like to tip on their services done that day. You can also show them the screen so they can see the percentage amounts like the terminal shows them. This must be done before choosing a payment option, even with cash or check.
If the guest is using a card we can manually enter the card information in. Click "Pay" - "Add Tip" - "Card" - enter/confirm full amount with tip - switch from "Use Terminal" to "Enter Card Manually" - when done entering card information click "Complete Payment"
If a guest has a card on file this is the one instance that we can use it. Follow these steps to make sure you are properly using the card on file. Click "Pay" - "Add Tip" - enter/confirm full amount with tip - confirm card on file is correct and active with the guest. If the card is incoorect go to enter the card manually, if it is correct you can complete the payment.
If all else fails tell guests you will call them once our systems are working and have them pay over the phone.
Internet is back but some things aren't working
Make sure the terminals are connected back to the salon's wifi
Chnage phones back to "Annastasia Salon" Network. If the phones don't reconnect unplug them for 30 seconds then plug the phones back in.
Cordless phones: Unplug the little black box on the pillar next to the Sonos speaker and retail pillars.
Change Vish IPads back to the "Annastasia Salon" Network

When someone wants their wig done by April:
Have them drop the wig off
No need to put them on her schedule.
Let her know when they need it by and when they bring it and put it in her locker!
The day they come to pick it up she will have instructions on what to charge written on her schedule.
If they want it done the next day let them know she will charge an extra fee for getting it done within 24hrs.
If someone calls asking for pricing, just give them April's phone number and she will talk to them herself. It is 503-756-1834

Bridal Inquiries
Our Bridal Coordinator is Adam. Most wedding services should go through him.

If someone calls inquiring about our wedding services, direct them to the website and have them fill out the inquiry form.
"Thank you so much for considering us for your wedding. We ask that all brides fill out our inquiry form on our website so we can gather all the pertinent information to serve you better. I will also send a message to our Bridal Coordinator letting him know you will be filling it out so he has a heads up to look for it! His name is Adam"
If someone calls because they filled out an inquiry and haven't heard back, get their name, number, and email and slack it to Adam so he can make sure it's been received.
"Thank you so much for telling us and I'm sorry you haven't heard. I am going to take your name and number and reach out directly to our Bridal coordinator right now. After I talk to him you will either hear from him or me."

Make sure you are filling out all parts of the deposit bag and placing checks in a separate envelope with location initial and date.
If you were unable to do a cash up please slack and leave a note for the opener for the next day (you can see this on When I Work) so it can be completed
If the total OVER or UNDER:
Going forward if the till is under/over by $50 or more slack Mady or Brooke so we can investigate what happened! Make sure to check under the change compartment before counting.
